Oct 31 - Runnymede HD2 Sense 3.5 android 2.3.5 - Team Blue Droid

I wanted to try Sense ROMs again because I really like HTC's widgets.    Team Blue Droid's ROM is what I used.  I had cLK bootloader so I used the kernel provided in the post, but my 3G data wasn't working at all.  APN is definitely correct, but I just don't see the data transfer icon.  I tried formatting the NAND and SD card thinking it's because of some remnants.  I still don't see any improvements so I tried other Sense ROMS and still not getting 3G data connection.  Meanwhile WIFI works perfectly.  Found out it's the cLK version that doesn't work with 3G data, but if I use MAGLDR version then my 3G data works fine.  The Android Market

HD2 NDT MIUI GINGER 2.3.7 STABLE V3.1 cLK/MAGLDR Sense 3.0

I've being trying the developemental MIUI ROMs from NDT for a while.  Since this time the stable version is newer than the develpemental version, I the stable version out.  I'm not sure if it's because I use the cLK bootloader version or not, the mobile internet was pretty un-stable.  I kept on seeing H turns into 3D and back to H constantly and also my signal bars change from 4 to 2 to none and back to 4.  I checked with Mobilicity and they have no problem.  The only online app that I really notice the network cut out is

HD2 NDT MIUI ginger DEV ROM V30.1 saturated

The theme still stayed the same for this version of ROM.  But I wouldn't mind because it just looks so good. Power consumption seems to have stabilized.  The ROM was good for a week, then I went to Boston and the phone started to reboot by itself occasionally again.  Happened on both of the batteries.  The color saturation seems to give more of a yellow feeling to all the pictures.  See the full change

HD2 NDT MIUI GINGER DEV ROM - V29.1

I couldn't stand CM7's settings menu and the BOYPPC's new ROM was defective last time.  So now my favorite ROM developer is Langthang.

This new development ROM is very eye appealing.

Makes me want to go on a vacation.  In fact, I'm going to Boston for the weekend.
This new theme has nice default program icons.

[cLK] BOYPPC Gingerbread ROM CM7 LG theme V46 and V47

I tried the LG themed version of CM7 rom by BOYPPC.  The cLK version worked fine.  Battery life wasn't as good as I thought.  The first 2 days are okay, but then the battery would go out after 24 hours.  It's a bit longer than the MIUI ROMS, but still not as good as the older CM7 ROMS.  Tried downloading the V47 Sept 25 version today, but it's not booting up at all after 10 minutes, so I'm pretty sure it's defective.  Will go back to the NDT MIUI ROM.

NDT MIUI ginger ROM DEV V27 Sept 11

I had to install the MAGLDR version first, then put om the cLK ppp tytung
update to get the ROM to boot in cLK bootloader.  I also tried the LG
keyboard with the ROM, but the phone will force close if I use the LG
keyboard with vibration while typing.  When I talk on the phone,
people would say

New ROMs from BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA and NDT Sept 11 - MIUI Gingerbread

This time I tried BOYPPC's ROM first since I haven't tried his MIUI ROM for a while.  The V20 Multilang version boot up quit fast even on first boot, around 45 seconds only.  That's a plus for me right away.  I should mention I changed back to CLK boot loader since the BOYPPC's package had a CLK flasher for 150MB, but the ROM didn't

HD2 NDT MIUI GINGER DEVELOPMENT ROM V24.2

HD2 NDT MIUI GINGER DEVELOPMENT ROM V24.2 MAGLDR Sense3 Aug25.  This development ROM seems to be more stable.  I've restored all my apps and Angry Birds was playing just fine.  The phone didn't reboot when I was typing in landscape mode.  I used the sense clock widget instead

BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA's CM7 Go Ex V42 200dpi ROM

This is the MAGLDR recovery version of Cyanogen 7 Gingerbread ROM with Go Ex launcher, 200dpi screen. The ROM is very fast and low battery consumption, but I'm so used to MIUI ROM now that I hate having to re-download everything after a ROM change.  Of course there are other backup/restore software, but it's just not as fast as the MIUI backup utility.  200dpi screen makes everything small, but you can fit more on the screen.  For people with bad eye sights maybe this is too small, but I have perfect eye sight so it's not a big deal. I'm not sure if it's 200dpi, but I remember reading the post saying that 200dpi would make the scrolling and other transition effects more smooth.  My verdict is that the ROM does respond very fast so I was pretty happy.  But I did experience occasional

[MAG/clk]NDT MIUI DEVELOPMENT ROM

This will be my favorite custom ROM maker for the next little while.  I tried the v22.1 development ROM instead of the stable ROM since I like the new lock screen better.  To download the ROM, please go to the forum page on XDA: NDT MIUI Development ROM.

I backed up my data from another MIUI ROM and restored it on this NDT ROM, for the most part it was working fine, but all of a sudden I can't use the auto-rotation feature, my phone would keep on rebooting once I change the rotation of the screen.  I turned off auto-rotation, then everything was fine again.  I thought something was wrong with the build,

A little background story

It seemed a long time ago that I was still running WM 6.5 and android with dual boot on the HTC HD2.  At first I got a Sony Ericsson X10H, I couldn't stand how bad the software was.  Sure I loved the look of the Sony phone and the camera was really nice and the flash was bright, but I can't do anything else with the phone properly.  It didn't have hardware multi-touch capability either so it was really hard to navigate.  Now the X10H has a software mode for multi-touch so I guess it's not all bad now.  But I couldn't wait so long, I would go mad.  Didn't know what I was thinking when I got the X10H, just wanted
